Sunday 12th January - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good end to the season in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches across both divisions as scheduled and some well competed football played.

In the Premier League, 01543 FC went head-to-head with Norfolk N Chance, culminating in a narrow 3-2 win for 01543 FC. This match showcased some high-quality football from both ends of the pitch, keeping the audience on edge. Meanwhile, Murder On Zidanes Floor showed their prowess, defeating Colonel Getafe 5-2 in a spectacular display of tactical brilliance and teamwork. Diadora FC also demonstrated their dominance by defeating Exeter Gently 7-2 while Burntwood FC managed to keep a clean sheet against What Divock, ending the match 2-0.

After an intense season, Burntwood FC emerged as the Premier League champions, accumulating an impressive total of 20 points and 9 wins.

Over in Division 1, Bar Snort FC and Glass On Grass played out a tightly contested match that ended in a 2-2 draw. Hednesford U5s were narrowly defeated 2-1 by FUB FC, while Still Havent Got One Yet managed a comfortable 3-1 victory over Two Girls One Schlupp. Finally, BARELY ATHLETIC claimed a 2-1 victory over WeKanteWin.

The Division 1 title was claimed by Bar Snort FC, mirroring the Premier League victors with an impressive 20 points and 9 wins.
