In the vibrant town of Burntwood, the second week of the electrifying Sunday 6 a side football league unfolded with high spirits and intense competition. The participants in two prominent divisions, Premier League and Division 1, showcased astounding performances, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats.

In the Premier League division, the Bottom Bunch FC put up a brave effort and held off Real Unfitico, who dominated the game yet couldn't get past their 1 goal advantage which clinched victory. D.T.F.C put on a spirited display and succumbed Allstars FC in a 4-3 triumph. The absolute definition of Match of the Day! Lord Of The Ringers, emerged as the week's powerhouse, obliterating Zingers FC with an incredible 10-0 triumph. In the final match, Hakuna Juan Mata fought valiantly, but were unable to flip Peak Eboue with a 3-2 defeat. 

On the other hand, Division 1 had its fair share of excitement, with Sporting Stonnall losing 7-1 against The Ringers. In a thrilling clash, Warriors were narrowly defeated 2-1 by M S Opeless. We look forward to welcoming a new team to Div1 next Sunday however!

The top scorers made significant impacts in their respective divisions. In the Premier League, the standout was clearly Lord Of The Ringers with their jaw-dropping 10 goals. Meanwhile, in Division 1, The Ringers shone bright, scoring 7 goals to secure their victory.

The Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football league has proven to be an exhilarating platform for local teams to showcase their mettle. As the season progresses, fans can look forward to more action-packed games and nail-biting finishes.
