As we approach the season half way point at the 6 a side Northern Gateway league, we take a look at whos in form and who's struggling to keep it together!
PREMIER 6 A SIDE NORTHERN GATEWAY LEAGUE TABLE ROUND UP
Sitting proud at the top of the Premier Division is 15Degrees, but only due to an impressive goal diference of 60! Mass FC are in second place. Both teams were hoping for a win when they played one another, but a 2-2 draw was a fair result. Six Offenders are not far behind on 12 points, and a win against 15Degrees on the 30th June could see then challenge Mass FC! Our new team Korda Reserves played their game Vs Mega Melts and secured a 3-2 win, which takes them up to 5th in the league. MDF are currently sitting in 6th place, while Mega Melts are still looking for their first league win as they sit at the bottom of the table.
DIVISION 1 6 A SIDE NORTHERN GATEWAY LEAGUE TABLE ROUND UP
Well done to 'Puyol Pants Down' who are in 1st place of division 1 with 13 points! however 15Degrees B are not far behind with 12 points. Netsix & Chill remain in 3rd place, while Fosters FC move up to 4th place with 9 points. Both Newfield FC and Dirty Mike and the Boys also have 9 points. Baines on Toast have just 2 points while Bees Milk are still searching for that first win on zero points! The Division one 6 a side Northern Gateway league is looking very tight, so all to play for in the 2nd half of the season!
TOP GOAL SCORERS
Well done to Astin Shai from 15Degrees who is currently the highest league scorer with 12 goals! Not far behind is Kyle Bergin with 11 goals also from 15Degrees! Jack Ballam and Callum Rogers are both on 10 goals also form 15Degrees! Mi Lee-Lazone from Six Offenders has 8 goals. Well done Gents, keep the goals coming at the 6 a side Northern Gateway Sports Park!
Some fantastic results & goals over the first 8 weeks from the 6 a side Northern Gateway leagues! The 2nd season will be more enjoyable as we will be able to place teams in to a league that best suits their teams ability!
