In an exhilarating kick-off to the new season of the Birmingham Friday Football League, teams across the Premier League and Division 1 showed their prowess on the field in a series of intense matches.
In the Premier League, rising team Kenny's Clowns 1997 made a statement with a dramatic victory over Boca Seniors, finishing 4-1. A slightly new look Kenny’s go into the season looking for the title, can they do it?

Meanwhile, Soccer PM managed to edge out Borussia Teeth by a single goal, ending the match at 1-0. A massive win for PM in maybe what could be the hardest league to win in Rubery

However, the biggest performance of the night was the stunning performance by West Heath United, who trounced Total Football 5-1. West Heath's Elliott Nash had a particularly remarkable night, emerging as the top scorer of the week with an impressive tally of 3 goals to his name

Switching focus to Division 1, there was drama aplenty, headlined by Fake Madrid's dominant performance against Brasilia Vets. Madrid's Paul Townsend was in ripping form, netting four goals to inspire his team to an 8-0 win.

In another nail-biting match, Last Legs FC managed a narrow victory over Could Get Messi, with a score of 2-1. The Braz Boys FC also made their mark, defeating Tired Tigers 4-0, proving they are a team to watch out for this season.
