As the Birmingham Friday 6-a-side football league nears its conclusion, the competition continues to heat up in both the Premier League and Division 1. With only two weeks left of the season, teams are battling it out to secure their places for the next season.
In the Premier League, Soccer PM edged out Borussia Teeth in a tight showdown, winning the match 2-0. Jack, the top scorer for Soccer PM, once again made his mark by netting both goals as PM pick up valuable points in the bid to stay up

West Heath United and Kennys Clowns 1997 also competed in a nail-biting match that ended 2-1 in favour of the Clowns, who dent Heath’s title challenge
Most Valuable Player - Gaz (Kenny’s Clowns 1997)
The match between F.C. Inter and Fake Madrid was a goal fest, with F.C. Inter emerging victorious with a score of 5-3. Madrid will be proud of their performance against the league leaders, in a great game that will be on our YouTube channel Leisure Leagues TV this weekend

In Division 1, Boca Seniors fell to Tired Tigers in a 3-1 defeat. Mohamad, who scored two goals for the Tigers, was named the division's top scorer of the week. A massive win for Tigers against the already promoted Boca

Total Football managed a narrow 2-1 victory over Last Legs FC, to set up a crunch clash against the Tigers in the promotion race for next week

Brasilia Vets and Could Get Messi battled to a 1-1 draw in a game both sides feel they should have won

These matches demonstrated the high level of competition and excitement in the Birmingham Friday 6-a-side football league.
