Play in the Rubery Friday 6-a-side Veterans football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Rubery Friday Football League continued to excite sports fans as week 16 of the season unfolded last night with fierce competition marking the action in the Premier League division.

In a display of sheer brilliance, Fake Madrid dominated Boca Seniors, finishing with a decisive 7-1 victory. The victory leaves Fake Madrid in high spirits heading into the season's final two weeks.

Most Valuable Player - Rob (Fake Madrid)  

Crouch Potatoes couldn't hold off Soccer PM, suffering a 4-0 defeat. The Soccer PM team showed their prowess on the pitch with a commanding performance that left Crouch Potatoes with no room for comeback.

Soccer PM had earlier played their catch up game against Borussia Teeth from a few weeks a go and won 3-1, so a good night all round for the PM lads.

Most Valuable Player - Kurt (against Crouch Potatoes) and Justin (against Borussia Teeth) Soccer PM  

Meanwhile, Total Football and Last Legs FC played out a close encounter, with Total Football edging out a 3-2 victory. Total Football's victory demonstrated their determination to secure their place for the next season.

In another evenly matched contest, West Heath United squeezed past Kenny's Clowns 1997 with a narrow 3-2 win. Both teams displayed commendable tactics and sportsmanship but it was West Heath United who emerged victorious.

Most Valuable Player - Carl (West Heath)  

Borussia Teeth showcased an emphatic performance against Deportivo FC, bagging a whopping 7-0 victory. The star of the match was Lloyd, who netted an impressive four goals for Borussia Teeth, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week and MVP for this side

With just two weeks left in the season, teams are battling it out to secure their place for the next season. The Premier League, showcasing the fiercest competition of all divisions, is all set to offer nail-biting action in the coming weeks.
