Play in the Rubery Friday Over 35's Veterans football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling second week of the Rubery Friday 6-a-side Football League, the Premier League division witnessed some astounding performances and electrifying matches that left spectators in awe.

A major highlight of the week was the spectacular showdown between Boca Seniors and West Heath United, ending in a staggering 11-2 victory for West Heath United. In an end to end game which was level for long periods of the match, the finishing of Shipway and his constant drive in the team helped turn the tide, and get him the MVP of the game award


A mention to Felix in goal for Seniors however, who made a number of brilliant saves and helped keep the score down

In another jaw-dropping match, Borussia Teeth demonstrated their prowess with an 11-0 whitewash against Total Football. Borussia's player Lloyd emerged as the top scorer of the division, impressively netting 5 goals and showcasing his extraordinary scoring ability, which played a crucial role in his team's resounding success


A night to forget for Total Football who were missing many key players and will look to go again next week

Deportivo FC, in a closely contested battle, managed to edge out Crouch Potatoes 3-1, further intensifying the competition in the division. Both of the newer teams to the division showed great promise going forward, and are welcome additons to the league

Meanwhile, Last Legs FC managed to secure a 1-0 win over Soccer PM in a nail-biting encounter, adding more drama to the fiercely competitive Premier League division. An incredible defense performance by Last Legs, who were bombarded by pressure second half with last ditch tackle and a fantastic goal keeping performance to thank


Chris for Last Legs was once again out standing in goal, proving why he made team of the season in the last campaign

The second week of the Rubery Friday League certainly lived up to its reputation for high-energy football and riveting matchups. As the competition unfolds, the teams in the Premier League division are leaving no stone unturned to claim the coveted title. With players like Adam Holland and Craig showing their mettle, the coming weeks promise to be filled with more excitement and top-tier football action.
