Sports enthusiasts across Rubery were on their toes last night as week nine of the much-anticipated Rubery Friday 6-a-side Football league unfolded. The Premier League division had an array of exciting matches that kept fans and players on edge, with notable performances from a few highlight teams that seized the night.

Boca Seniors inched their way to victory against Sporting Old Stars with a score of 1-0 in a hard-fought match. The match was a captivating display of footballing prowess and strategic play, with Boca Seniors managing to break the deadlock and maintain their slim lead much helped by the performance of their goalie Rikki.

Fans were also treated to a nail-biting contest between Total Football and Soccer PM, with Soccer PM ultimately stealing the show with a 1-0 triumph. The game was a testament to the grit and perseverance of the Soccer PM squad who battled till the end to secure their well-deserved victory.

However, the night belonged to West Heath United, who put on a stellar performance against Last Legs FC, romping home to a 6-2 victory. The man of the match was without a doubt, Elliott Nash, who turned the field into his playground, scoring six goals for West Heath United, making him the top scorer of the Premier League division. His extraordinary showcase of skills and precision was a sight to behold and undeniably played a significant role in the team's resounding victory.

The night started with Borussia Teeth falling 0-3 to Kenny's Clowns 1997. The latter demonstrated excellent teamwork and proficiency, leading them to a clean sweep over their competitors.
