Over 35’s Veterans Shield Semi-Finals

Borussia Teeth vs. West Heath United


In a closely contested semi-final, Borussia Teeth faced West Heath United but fell short, losing 2-0. Goals from Nash and Steve sealed the victory for West Heath, sending them into the final. Despite a spirited effort from Borussia, they struggled to convert their chances, and frustration was evident on Grant Dodd's face as the final whistle blew. The defeat marked a disappointing end to their Shield campaign, while West Heath celebrated their well-deserved victory.

Boca Seniors vs. Total Football


In the second semi-final, Boca Seniors and Total Football played out a tense 1-1 draw. Boca took the lead early in the match, only for Total Football to equalize in the second half. With neither team able to find a winner in regular time, the match proceeded to penalties. Boca’s Rikki emerged as the hero, saving a crucial spot kick that allowed Boca to secure a 4-3 victory in the shootout, sending them through to the final.
