It was another good evening at the Leisure Leagues Rubery Thursday 6 aside league at Colmers Farm, as all teams were in attendance for their scheduled fixtures as planned. The only exception to this was The Professionals who failed to attend for their scheduled game. We will be in contact with them today to confirm that they will be back in attendance for the next set of fixtures on Thursday 21st March.
Unfortunately the only sour point of the evening saw Callum from Acca Maestros receiving a red card and dismissal for using foul and abusive language towards a match official. As a result of this the player will be receiving a fine and one week ban for his actions.
Leisure Leagues would like to take this opportunity to remind all players within the league that we operate a zero tolerance policy towards any kind of abusive behaviour at our leagues. Any such behaviour will result in the player, and possibly the team being removed from the league.
We currently have 3 spaces in the league and for a limited period we are offering £5 ENTRY and FIRST GAME FREE!
Winning teams of our leagues have a chance to win a £12,000 trip to Germany! We also have great prizes for Runners Up & Player of the Season!
