Play in the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Rubery Thursday's 6-a-side Football League moved into its intense 9th week, and the action was nothing short of sensational. Teams, players, and fans were all buzzing with excitement and anticipation, as the Premier League and Division 1 matches played out under the floodlights.

The Premier League matches kicked off with an impressive defensive display by Murdaonthedancefloor, who held Field FC at bay and secured a 2-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Beautiful Men stunned Pipers FC with a 7-0 drubbing, showcasing their offensive prowess and setting the benchmark higher for the rest of the season.

The game between Pique Blinders and Tika Taka FC was a tightly contested affair, which eventually saw Pique Blinders emerging victorious with a 3-1 win.


Most Valuable Player- Jordan Wilson (Pique Blinders) 


Another win for Sakapotatoes, who keep the pressure on in 2nd place, with Barnes once again the MVP for the game


 The Premier League's top scorer of the week, Jack Thompson from Beautiful Men, stole the show by netting a total of 5 goals. This now puts him on 28 for the season, in only 7 games

In Division 1, the week was characterized by high-scoring matches with teams going all out to secure important wins. Last Legs FC were dominant in their 4-1 win over Chasers81120 FC. Legs remain unbeaten, can they do an “invincible” season?

Misfits FC displayed an exemplary performance, blowing away FC BomersField 8-0, their 7th win in a row


Most Valuable Player- Prinnock (Misfits FC)


Nordic FC comfortably bested Waxed Or Arshavin 6-1, Clarke again the difference maker for his team, which also keeps Nordic in 3rd


Most Valuable Player - Clarke (Nordic FC)


Pathetic Athletic outmatched The Special Inbetweeners with a 5-1 win, which moves them away from the bottom of the table. Donalds was MvP for Pathetic, and he was instrumental in their win


The star of Division 1 was Pinnock from Misfits FC, who capped off the week as the top scorer with a remarkable 4 goals.


As we look forward to the next week of the Rubery Thursday's 6-a-side Football League, the stakes are higher, and the excitement is palpable.
