FOOTBALL FRENZY SWEEPS ACROSS RUBERY THURSDAY LEAGUE
After an action-filled night of football, the results of this week's Rubery Thursday 6-a-side football league are finally in. As we conclude week six of the season, the players demonstrated a fervour for the game that will be remembered for weeks to come.
In the Premier League division, Beautiful Men dominated against Last Legs FC with a 3-0 victory. The win keeps them in the title picture with the leagues top scorer Jack Thompson, once again on the scoresheet

However, the highlight of the evening was Willian Her Mouth’s stellar performance, where they triumphed over DEPORTiVO FC with a score of 6-2. Willian's first win of the season was a much needed one and should be the turning point for their reason

The match between Pique Blinders and Mr Woottons U16s resulted in a tantalizing draw with a scoreline of 2-2, with the Wootoons scoring 2 in the final minute to pull the score level

Dyslexia Utd remain top of the table with a 5-2 win against last season's runners up Sakapotatoes. Aiden was the top scorer in the division tonight with a hat - trick

Switching gears to Division 1, the teams put on an equally impressive show. Athletico Northfield emerged victorious over Chasers81120 FC, with an exhilarating score of 7-1. Ewan from Athletico Northfield shone as the top scorer in this division, bagging a total of 4 goals.

Pipers FC took a decisive win against The Special Inbetweeners with a scoreline of 4-0. Once again Jack Randle was MVP in what is proving to be a fine season for the captain

FC BomersField had to admit defeat in their game against Pathetic Athletic, losing by a wide margin of 5-1. The win puts Pathetic just outside the promotion places, and shows how far they have come since last season

Lastly, Nordic FC barely managed to snatch a win from Misfits FC with a score of 2-1, which takes them clear of the bottom of the table
