In the Rubery Thursday 6 a side football league, week 2 was a blast with some brilliant displays that left spectators at the edges of their seats. The league, divided into two divisions, Premier League and Division 1, saw some stunning goals, with players giving their all to secure victories for their teams.

In the Premier League division, SakaPotatoes secured an impressive 3-1 victory over Athletico Northfield. The highlight of the match was the outstanding performance by Mike Barnes of SakaPotatoes who managed to find the back of the net twice. His double strike helped the team secure a comfortable victory, earning him the title of the top scorer in this division for the week.

 Nordic FC outclassed FC BomersField with a 6-2 win, doubles from Clarke and Oscar helping sealing the points for Nordic who sit top of the table after two games

Last Legs FC showed their dominance with a 3-1 win over Misfits FC, following up their win last week as they look to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt
