The 7th week of the 6-a-side football league, Rubery Tuesday, came to a close last night with four matches demonstrating the strength, skill and tenacity of the participating teams.
In the Premier League division, the players pushed their physical limits, resulting in an exciting week of football. South Side made a significant impression, sailing to victory with a striking 6-0 score against BAASNM BumbleBees. The team's stellar performance was bolstered by their top scorer, Wayne French, who remarkably netted 2 goals, demonstrating his unrivalled skill and precision on the pitch.

Meanwhile, in a nail-biting face-off, SHE WAS ONLY XI narrowly defeated The Hustlers with a 2-1 score. It was a thrilling match, with each side showcasing exceptional defence and attack strategies, resulting in a hard-fought victory for SHE WAS ONLY XI.

Grafters also clinched a 2-1 victory over the Wheezy Wanderers FC in a highly competitive match, highlighting the Grafters' determination and teamwork, which proved instrumental to their win.

The fourth match of the league saw Chasers81120 FC outshine When The Fun Stops, Deposit with a 2-1 score, rounding off an exhilarating week in the Premier League division.
Unfortunately Ronnie Pickermings and Chance Taken couldn’t field a team this week. Just a reminder to all teams that a weeks notice is required to cancel a fixture free of charge
