WEEKLY UPDATES FROM THE SPALDING MONDAY LEAGUE | 15TH AUGUST

What a wonderful summer of sport! We saw the Lionesses score victory and the commonwealth games were SPECTACULAR with England taking home many medals. 

It doesn't stop there, last night we saw the Spalding area showcase their skill and sportsmanship, and were simply having a blast! Many goals were made. Incredible effort from all teams. 

The game of the evening resulted in a superb 2 - 2 draw between 'Tim's Ward' and 'Rodallega Bombs' as both teams went head to head to steal the victory.  Despite this, neither team could outscore the other. They both put up an excellent fight. 

The team of the week for this evenings league is given to the top spot 'Unreal Madrid' who beat their opponents with incredible team performance. Well done lads!

We wanted to say a HUGE thank you for your continued commitment to the league and for allowing it to go from strength to strength.  You guys rock!

In other news, as we are halfway through the peak holiday season, we remind all teams of the importance of cancelling with the required 7 days' notice If there are any matches that you cannot attend. By doing so, you will avoid the charge of your match fees for this fixture, any cancellations with less than 7 days' notice will result in you being charged.
