BIRMINGHAM TUESDAY 6 ASIDE LEAGUE UPDATE FROM 18TH OF APRIL

Leisure Leagues' Birmingham Tuesday 6 aside league held at Lordswood Girls School and Sixth Form Centre was in full swing with all the teams in attendance, except for Kings Heath Albion and Stone Cold, who failed to inform the office of their unavailability. This caused a disruption in the scheduling of the matches as the league was left scrambling to arrange fixtures for the remaining teams.

Fortunately, Monday FC was able to play a game as a new team called Under 2 Point 5 Goals decided to stay on. However, due to Kings Heath Albion not showing up for the first game, Charter did not get to play a match, causing disappointment for the team.

The incident highlighted the importance of teams informing the office if they are unable to attend a scheduled match. Such information allows the league to organize a fixture for the opposing team, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants. Teams are required to provide a minimum of seven days' notice if they are unable to attend a match to avoid payment. Cancellations that are made less than seven days before the scheduled match will still be charged.

The league is now full, but new teams are encouraged to sign up on the Leisure Leagues website so that the league can be extended, creating more opportunities for teams to participate. The Birmingham Tuesday 6 aside league is a competitive and enjoyable platform for football enthusiasts to showcase their skills, and with the expansion of the league, more teams can be accommodated, resulting in a more inclusive and exciting experience for everyone involved.
