Monday 7th April - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches and some excellent football played across both divisions.

In the Premier League division, The Manor FC continued its dominant run with a decisive 2-0 victory over Ball Of Duty. The most nail-biting encounter of the night was between Mandy Men and Conkers FC, with Mandy Men eking out a 5-4 victory in a hotly contested match. Nott In Your Mums Forest also secured a narrow 3-2 win against Mass Debaters, thereby intensifying the race for the top spot.

However, the deadlock between Wootton Street Wanderers and Newdigate United, ending in a 0-0 draw, proved that defensive strategies were just as crucial in this high-stakes league.

Meanwhile, in the Division 1 match-ups, Backstreet Moyes made a strong statement with a commanding 4-0 victory over Squid Game. Dont Look Back In Elanga, La Radnor FC, and Inter Ya Nan also made their presence felt by defeating their respective opponents.

The highlight of the week was the match between Gangsters Allardyce and Inter Ya Nan, with the latter emerging victorious with a 3-2 scoreline, adding some extra spice to the Division 1 standings.
