Stourbridge Monday Football League Wraps Up Season with Thrilling Week 14 Matches.
Stourbridge, England - In an exhilarating conclusion to the season, Stourbridge Monday Over 35s Football League witnessed some intense battles during week 14. Fans were treated to a display of skill, determination, and teamwork as teams from the Premier League and Division 1 competed fiercely for the top spots.
We did have one disciplinary issue in the game between Boca and Misfits FC. One of the Misfits FC players were sent from the field of play for violent conduct in the game, the player in question has been fined £20 and banned for two weeks because of this incident. It is paramount all teams remain within the rules of the league each and every week and if their are any issues expect them to be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each and every time.
In more positive news, in the Premier League division, Boca Seniors faced off against Athletico Arthritico in a hard-fought match. Boca Seniors emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, thanks to their solid teamwork and clinical finishing. Meanwhile, FC Crystal showcased their attacking prowess, netting six goals against Boca 2.0, who managed to find the back of the net twice in response. Not Quite Passed It also maintained their winning streak, defeating Surreal Madrid 4-2.
Division 1 matches were filled with excitement as well. Bilkos Ballers managed to secure a narrow victory of 3-2 against Barely Athletic, while Boca displayed their dominance with a 5-1 win over Misfits FC following the sending off having an impact on the game. Pablo Hit The Bar and Haven’t Jota Clue delivered a goal-fest, with the latter emerging triumphant after a thrilling 5-3 encounter.
With week 14 coming to a close, the final standings for both divisions have been determined. In the Premier League, Mirage United claimed the top spot with a total of 27 points and 13 wins, cementing their reputation as the division's champions. In Division 1, Haven’t Jota Clue emerged victorious with a total of 26 points and 12 wins, showcasing their skill and determination throughout the season.
Additionally, individual players' performances were recognized, with Martin from Mirage United named the top scorer in the Premier League division, Darrel of Haven’t Jota Clue took the top scorer title in Division 1.
