The Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side football league, noted for its fierce competition and high energy gameplay, kicked off its new season with the Premier League division in the spotlight this week.

Unfortunately, we did have a non-attendance on the night, Del Bosque FC were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League division, the opening night was marked by a high-scoring match between Haven’t Jota Clue and Athletico Woodgate, which ended in a staggering defeat for Athletico Woodgate. This stunning victory for Haven’t Jota Clue sets the tone for the rest of the season, showcasing the level of skill and determination we can expect to see. Meanwhile, a tightly contested match between Surreal Madrid and Barely Athletic resulted in a 1-1 draw, demonstrating the evenly matched prowess of both teams. The evening concluded with another closely fought game where Pablo Hit The Bar emerged victorious with a 3-2 win over Boca.
