A fantastic night of action in the Stourbridge Over 35s Monday League with some fantastic games played through the night and all teams in attendance as expected.

Unfortunately we did have a bad injury on the night as Matt Wordsley injured his achilles while playing for 'Pablo Hit the Bar' and means he is out of action for a lengthy amount of time. We wish him well and a speedy recovery from the injury he has sustained!

Premier League game of the week this week was the tight game between 'Del Bosque FC' and 'Not Quite Passed It'. In a high-quality game, the two teams could not be split but 'Del Bosque FC' got the only goal of the game to take the win. With how close the games were on the night it will be interesting to see how the table looks when the two teams meet again.

Game of the week in Division One was the game between 'Boca' and 'UnReal Madrid'. In a tight affair 'Boca' carried on their strong start to the season to run out 2-0 winners and sit in third after week three. Next up for them is 'Barely Athletic' as they look to break into the top two promotion positions.

The team of the week, for this evening's tough set of games is given to 'FC Crystal' as they comfortably beat their opponents 'Barely Athletic' as they continue their fine start to the season. In an unbeaten start they sit second on goal difference and look to keep this run going when they take on 'Surreal Madrid' next week, who's unbeaten start will survive?
