A brilliant night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Over 35s Monday League at Stourbridge Rugby Club with all teams in attendance as expected.

The game of the evening in the Premier League was the third game of the night between 'Mirage United' and 'Athletico Arthritico' as 'Mirage United' were able to get the best of their opponents in a 5-2 win. Victory in this seven-goal thriller shows how tight and amazing close all the teams are in this league. Up to third and facing 'Not Quite Passed It' next game they will be looking to take the win again and push into the top two.

Division One game of the evening was the game between 'Pablo Hit the Bar' and 'Boca'. In a very evenly matched game that could have gone either way it was 'Pablo Hit the Bar' who were able to get the 3-2 win and climb up to 3rd in the league. Next up for them is 'Del Bosque FC' and with a win they could be in the top two after the fourth games of the season.

'Boca 2.0' are our team of the week following a good win over 'Not Quite Passed It'. A win next week against 'Boca Seniors' they could go to the top of the league if results go their way.

The league is now off for Easter Monday meaning the league will resume again on Monday 17th April 2023 as the centre is closed. We would like to wish everyone involved with the league a happy Easter and see you in a few weeks.
