BRIERLEY HILL HOTS UP WITH FOUR GAMES TO GO!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the night in the 6-a-side Brierley Hill Monday League.

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the game between 'Man Chest Hair United' and 'Puyol Pants Down', two teams that are closely matched and this is shown in the 3-1 result. A very good game of football with all involved working hard for the win but it was the league leaders that came out on top. Four games to go now can 'Puyol Pants Down' keep it going until the end of the season? And with 'Peter Beardsley' to play next week can 'Man Chest Hair United' bounce back to keep themselves in the title race?

The Division 1 game of the night was between 2nd placed 'Lets Get Messi' and new team 'Sondico Marcus Jones'. Two good teams that worked hard to get the result but the new team were able to pip it with a 3-2 win. With four games to go it will be interesting to see who will be the two teams getting promoted from this division as 'Lets Get 'Messi' play the league leaders 'Inter Mi'Bathams' next week. Can 'Sondico Marcus Jones' continue to put the cat amongst the pigeons?

Team of the week goes to 'Tom Gs Under 3s' who have now won two of their last three games and are looking up in regards to the league table in Division One. With only one of the top 3 left to play in their remaining games it will be interesting to see if they can continue to climb the table.
