FANTASTIC RETURN TO BRIERLEY HILL!

A fantastic return to Thorns Collegiate Academy for the Brierley Hill Monday 6-a-side league this week with all teams in attendance as expected and some brilliant games played throughout.

It was brilliant to welcome three new teams as 'Paris Ganja Man', 'Delph and Safety' and 'Chippy Butty FC' all played there first games. All put in great showings and as they stat to settle into the league it will be good to see how they can influence the league standings in each division.

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to clash to finish the night between 'West Midlands United F.C.' and 'Man Chest Hair United'. Two veterans of the league that haven't met very many times but with this showing there really isn't much between them. The game finished 1-1 and both teams are split by one point going into week six, where will both teams be sitting after next weeks games.

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the 11 goal thriller between 'Crep City FC' and 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC'. It really was an end to end game that could have gone either way and was a joy to watch. 'Crep City FC' came out with the 6-5 win and therefore remain undefeated to start the season and are making an early push for promotion, next up 'Baloteletubbies', can they continue this form and be our winners of Division One this season?

Team of the week are 'Borussia Teeth' who ran out 7-0 winners this week to climb up to 2nd in the Premier Division. This new team are showing strong in the early part of the season and with league leaders 'That Peter Crouch Team' next can they narrow the gap to 1st place.
