GREAT GAMES THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT IN BRIERLEY HILL!!!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Brierley Hill Monday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for and some very tight games played throughout. We also welcomed new teams 'Sondico Marcus Jones' and 'Dudley Warriors' to the league, one win and one loss on their first nights, showing great promise for their chances moving forward. The league would like to wish them all the best moving forward as we near the end of the current season.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the top of the table clash between 'Puyol Pants Down' VS 'Peter Beardsley'. Both teams were very impressive in a very close encounter on the night. The game finished in a 3-3 draw which leaves both teams the same as they started and one point between them.All good games in Division One but it was the first game between 'Sondico Marcus Jones' and 'Inter Mi'Bathams' that was the best of the night. The new team providing a scare for the team that are top of Division One but the league leaders were able to come out on top in the end. As the season goes on it will be interesting to see if they can keep it going to the very end and with more performances like this it will be good to see if 'Sondico Marcus Jones' can climb the table before the season ends.

Team of the week for this week is 'Man Chest Hair United'. The team have sowly been going about there business this season and have no climbed up to 2nd, 1 point off top, will they be able to push for the title come the end of the season? Next up, league leaders 'Puyol Pants Down'.
