LEAGUE BACK WITH A BANG IN BRIERLEY HILL!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Brierley Hill Monday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for and some very tight games played throughout.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between new boys 'Crep City FC' and 'AC McCann'. Both teams were very impressive in a very close encounter on the night and the 3-3 draw was a fair result as we are nearing the halfway stage of the season. Either team will be looking to move up the league as we work our way through to the seasons end.

All good games again in Division One but it was the last game between 'Who Ate All Depays' and 'West Midlands United FC' that was the best of the night. A 2-1 win for 'Who Ate All Depays' means everyone in the division has won a game now and all teams in the division are within 6 points of each other makes for an exciting second half of the season. As the season goes on it will be interesting to see where both teams that fought out the game of the week end up.

Team of the week for this week is 'Dudley Warriors'. The team have slowly been going about there business this season and sit top of a very competitive Premier Division, will they be able to keep this up as the weeks go by? Next up for them is 'AC McCann', will they proide the first stumbling block?
