ONE GAME TO GO IN BRIERLEY HILL!!!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Brierley Hill Monday League with just one week of the season left and everyone in attendance as expected.

The game of the night in the Premier Division was between 'AC McCann' and 'That Peter Crouch Team'. The first of two shocks on the night that saw 'AC McCann' come away with a 2-0 win and come out of the relegation zone on goal difference. With one game to go its all to play for and will be interesting to see who can stay up from the three teams involved. Congratulations to 'Dudley Warriors' who have confirmed themselves as this seasons champions and to 'Inter Mi'Bathams' who are the Premier Division runners up with a week to go. Well done both!

Game of the night in Division One was between 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC' and '6 Berks And A Turk'. 2nd and 3rd facing off in Division One with the winner taking a giant leap towards promotion. After a tight affair between to teams who have been neck and neck throughout this season it was '6 Berks And A Turk' who came out the 3-2 winners, all they need next week is a draw to confirm there 2nd place finish. Good luck to them!

Team of the week for this week is 'Crep City FC'. Since starting in the league they have been getting better and better and needed to win in order to keep their hopes of staying up alive. They face the impossible next week as they face the unbeaten newly crowned champions 'Dudley Warriors' and need other results to go there way but with a 6-1 win this week anything is possible as we near the end of the season.
