SIX GAMES IN AND THE LEAGUES CLOSE UP!!!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Brierley Hill Monday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for and some very tight games played throughout.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between last seasons winners 'Dudley Warriors' and champions of two seasons ago 'That Peter Crouch Team'. It really was an end to end game that could have gone either way between two very good teams that will be challenging again this season. 'That Peter Crouch Team' were more clinical on the night an that's what won it for them 2-1 but 'Dudley Warriors' will be putting the dates in the diary for the rematch later in the season.

Division One had a lot of very good games but game of the night had to be the top two clash between 'AC McCann' and '6 Berks And A Turk'. A very competitive game that saw 'AC McCann' extend there unbeaten run to six out of six with a 2-0 win but this was probably there toughest test yet. Next week they look to go seven out of seven as they take on 'Who Ate All Depays' who have won there last two games to climb to 5th.

Team of the week for this week are 'Crumptons Firm'. After a little wobble they are starting to find there stride in the league and have climbed up to second because of the above result and there 4-1 win.  Next week 'Crumptons Firm' face '6 Berks And A Turk' in a clash that could go a long way to deciding who will be promoted this season in Division One, who will come out on top?
