A fantastic night of 6-a-side football with some entertaining fixtures played throughout. Unfortunately we did have two non-attendances but both have confirmed there return for next week's fixtures. It is paramount that all teams are present for the fixtures each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if any team is having any problems then please contact the Area Manager as soon as possible.
In more positive news, game of the evening in the Premier League was between 'Celta Allstars' and 'Redz On Stedz ' as 'Celta Allstars' yet again came out on top adding to their 8 wins in 9 games. The game however was extremely close game where it ended 3-2 and both teams gave their all to try and come out on top. It was an all rounded game with plenty of different goal scorers and puts 'Celta Allstars' three point clear with five games to go, will anybody catch them?
Division 1 had plenty of action throughout the night but game of the evening was given to the top of the table clash 2-0 victory for second placed 'PSGeezas' 2-0 over top of the league 'Roebuck FC' Their were two goal scorers in the game as Oliver Parkes and Franseco Rizzo helped pull there team within one point of the opponents in the league table. 'Roebuck FC' had their moments in the game however were not able to overcome the strong performance from 'PSGeezas'. One point between the two teams that are six clear of the rest, who will be Division 1 champions this season?
Division 2 game of the week was a victory for 'This Is Plough We Do It' against 'Cott Lane Colts' where both teams put their heart and soul in trying to get the two points. It was 'This Is Plough We Do It' who pipped them their opponents at the post however with the extra goal needed to win the game. Up to second now and one point splitting 2nd down to 5th there is no room for errors in the final five games.
Division 3 game of the week is given to the victory for 'AFC Vexham' against 'Hickorys Allstars' with the final score ending 4-1 to 'AFC Vexham' with an excellent performance from Jordan Crump who scored a brace to ensure they won the game. 'Hickorys Allstars tried their best but unfortunately couldn't score the goals required to take the win. All very close as we hit the halfway stage in this Division, who will be promoted come the end of the season?
For there performance above the team of the evening for this week is given to 'This Is Plough We Do It' as they pick up another vital win in their bid for a return to Division One. Next up the face fellow promotion rivals 'West Midlands United F.C' in what should be a brilliant game, good luck to both teams in this fixture!
