STOURBRIDGE MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 16TH MAY 22

All the latest news from the Stourbridge 6-a-side Monday league is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

Another great evening of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side League with all teams in attendance as expected.

It was also great to welcome new team 'MC Don's who put in a good account of themselves in there first game against 'Redz On Stedz', lets see how they get on next week and good luck as you settle into the league.

The Premier League once again did not disappoint with plenty of action. The game of the week was a thriller of a game between 'Football Club FC' and underdogs 'Bayern Neverlosen' the game finished in  2-1 victory for 'Football Club FC' however it was a game that went right down to the wire. The game was thrilling for players and spectators with neither knowing which way the game was going to end. An excellent performance from 'Bayern Neverlosen' where they will hope to continue this form into future games. This was also a brilliant game from 'Football Club FC' as they grinded out their win thanks to goals from Dan Payne and Jess Smith. 

In Division 1 the game of the week also resulted in a 2-1 victory. The 2-1 victory went the way of 'This is Plough We Do It' against 'Let The Game McGinn'. This was also an excellent game between two evenly matched teams going head to head which could only be decided by one goal. It was Robbie Sandford of 'This Is Plough We Do It' who provided an essential brace to secure the victory against a tough opposition. A great way to get off the mark in the wins column this season.

Finally, in Division 2 there was plenty of action in which it was difficult to pick a game of the evening. However, the game of the evening is given to 'Dynamo Greyhound PFC'S' 4-2 victory over 'Pique Blinders' where both team locked horns in a bid to win the game and gain more points as the season continues. The game was extremely tense for both teams as both thought they could come out winners. Eventually it was 'Dynamo Greyhound PFC' who pulled away with the 4-2 win. 

The team of the evening is given to 'BBF United' as they ran out 4-1 winners against tough opponents 'Park Tavern FC' who, after this weeks games, sit in third place in comparison to 'BBF United's' 2nd place, therefore was predicted to be an extremely close game between the two sides. Despite this it was an incredible team effort which 'Park Tavern FC' could not answer too. Well done and with the team in the promotion spaces can they keep it going till the end of the season?
