STOURBRIDGE MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 6TH FEBRUARY

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football with all teams in attendance and accounted for.

Some great games in the Premier League but game of the night this week goes to the game between 'BBF United' and 'PS Geezas'. In a hotly contested game that saw lots of chances throughout and a game played at a very high tempo that saw 'BBF United' come out with the 5-3 win. We are only in the early stages of the season, but this Division is looking very tight for the season ahead.

A few games stand out in Division One but it was the fantastic first game between 'Pique Blinders' and 'This is Plough We Do It' that was game of the night. Two very evenly matched teams that played out a great game but it was 'This is Plough We Do It' who came out on top in a 3-2 win. With how tight this game was it will be interesting to see how these two teams end up and how the game finishes when the two teams meet again later in the season.

The game of the night in Division Two was the game between 'Let the Game McGinn' and 'Gylfi as Charged'. Two similarly able teams that served up a thriller but in the end it was 'Let the Game McGinn' who came away with the 1-0. As the weeks go on both teams will be looking to climb the table and chase the two promotion spots.

Team of the week for this week has to be Division Two leaders 'Stourbridge Olympic'. A very impressive win against 'We Don't Give a Flying Duck FC' means they have a 100% record going into week three of the season. Next up will be an early unbeaten record clash when they face 'Cott Lane Colts', can they keep the run going?
