STOURBRIDGE MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 9TH MAY 2022

Another great evening of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side league.

In the Premier League, there was plenty of action as teams continued to battle on as the season continues into the second half of the season. The game of the evening however was a victory for 'Redz On Stedz' against 'Football Club FC' as the final result finished 4-2 in an epic battle between two sides with plenty of talent. The battle went on to the very end of the game and on another evening the result could have gone a different way. It was a great performance for 'Redz On Stedz' as they put a dent in 2nd placed 'Football Club FC's' title hopes.

The game of the evening in Division 1 resulted in a 2-1 victory for 'Dynamo B.C.' over 'BBF United' as Tom Wright and James Allan scored crucial goals for 'Dynamo B.C.' as they carried themselves well throughout the game which resulted in the victory. This does not take the fact away that 'BBF United' also played very well however could not get the important goals to win the game. With this result 'Dynamo B.C' are starting to settle in Division 1, do they have time to get out of the relegation battle?

We now turn to Division 2 where we had an excellent game between 'Dynamo Greyhound PFC' and 'Beercelona'. A win for 'Beercelona could have put them into the top two spaces in the league as they were level with the eventual winners 'Dyanmo Greyhound PFC' before the game began. However, a masterclass display from 'Dynamo Greyhound PFC' saw them win 3-1 thanks to an excellent brace from Jake Tromans to secure their top 2 place until next week.

The team of the week is given to 'Park Tavern FC' as they beat rival competitior and top of the league 'Oaks Ay We'  in Division 1 to close the gap to there opponents. This win came in fine fashion as they put 4 past their opponents without reply and some fine performances throughout the team to secure the win.
