The Stourbridge Monday Football League once again showcased its prowess as teams battled it out in an exhilarating week 6 of the season. With matches taking place across four divisions, Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3, it was a night filled with thrilling goals and outstanding individual performances.
We also welcomed new team Spignif Allstars who put in a great performance on there first game in the league, we wish them all the best moving forward in the league.
In the Premier League, Celta Allstars asserted their dominance with an emphatic victory over AFC Vexham. Bugle FC also put on a dominant display, triumphing over Unprotected Cesc with a convincing scoreline. BBF United managed to secure a narrow 3-2 win against Wheres Your Man FC.
Division 1 witnessed some closely contested encounters. Stourbridge Olympic emerged victorious, defeating Bayern Neverlosen 3-1. VI Inches Combined snatched a hard-fought 3-2 win against This Is Plough We Do It. Let The Game McGinn and West Midlands United F.C. battled to a 2-2 draw. Also In a remarkable display, PSGeezas stunned Inter Mi’Bathams with a resounding victory.
Division 2 saw some intriguing matches as well. Men In The Garden faced a tough challenge as they succumbed to a 3-0 defeat against league leaders Baz Ball FC. Hickorys Allstars narrowly lost out against Piqué Blinders with a scoreline of 3-2. Gylfi As Charged showcased their skill and determination, securing a 4-2 win against new team Spignif Allstars.
Division 3 also offered exciting clashes, with teams vying for supremacy. Gylfi Pleasures dominated their match against Athletic Dildao, sealing a convincing 4-1 win. Ketamingolet and Slumdog Mingolet settled for a 2-2 draw after a hard-fought battle. LABEL FC delivered an impressive performance, defeating Still Trying FC with a comprehensive scoreline. Waggon Wonderers put on a goal-scoring masterclass, triumphing over We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC.
Furthermore, the team of the week were Stourbridge Olympic, who displayed exceptional skill with each player contributing significantly to there team's success.
