Play in the Stourbridge Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues.

In an exciting round of matches in the Stourbridge Monday 6 a side Football league, fans were treated to a display of skill, endurance, and tenacity. The matches, which marked the 4th week of the season, saw teams from several divisions clash in hard-fought contests.

Unfortunately, we did have several non-attendances, and we will be getting in contact with the team captains to confirm their return for the coming week. Hwang Onasec gave their 7-day notice period and will also be returning to the league next week. Please ensure all teams are attending the league to ensure the league runs as smoothly as possible. 

In more positive news in the Premier League, AFC Vexham emerged victorious against Wheres Your Man FC with a 2-0 win, while Celta Allstars narrowly surpassed Unprotected Cesc with a 4-3 victory. Growler Out FC were also beaten by Haaland Globetrotters in a concise victory over their opponents. 

In Division 1, Big Stiff Chip Butty outplayed VI Inches Combined with a 3-2 win as both teams displayed exceptional performances over their opponents. BBF United triumphed over LABEL FC with a 3-1 score with some spectacular goals along the way. 

Division 2 saw Mirage United overpower Piqué Blinders with a 6-2 victory with an exceptional performance in attack with free-flowing football being played, the only improvement could have been a clean sheet! This victory sees them top Division 2 with maximum points being taken. Next week they face De Jong Boys who currently sit in second place!

In Division 3, Genoa Side secured a 1-0 win over Scran City in a tight encounter where the only goal from Genoa Side was able to break the deadlock. Gylfi Pleasures were edged out by Reserve Squad V2 in a thrilling 5-4 game as the two teams fought tooth and nail to secure a victory! 

Athletic Dildao dominated in Division 4, defeating Waggon Wonderers 7-0 in a perfect performance without faltering in attack and defence. Spignif Allstars also managed to obtain a 3-1 victory over Peter Larsen Kaffe which is vital in their fight to chase down top-of-the-division Athletic Dildao. This is Plough We Do It also scraped a 2-1 win over their opponents Cott Lane Colts. 

Finally, in Division 5, Gylfi As Charged were defeated 6-5 by We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC in a sensational encounter where nobody could have predicted the result of the game. Hickorys Allstars recorded an astounding 11-2 victory against The Unbelievable Lads FC, an incredible attacking performance provided the good for Hickorys Allstars. Finally, Still Trying FC pipped Danny GS Henchmen in a 1-0 victory. 

The team of the week is given to Hickorys Allstars thanks to their outstanding victory over The Unbelievable Lads FC, continuing their title charge as they currently sit at the top of the division with maximum points and a goal difference of 19. Next week they take on second-placed Still Trying FC with the potential of a thrilling encounter!
