Thrilling Finale to Stourbridge Monday 6 a Side Football League Season
In the climactic final week of the Stourbridge Monday 6 a Side football league season, football fans were treated to a sensational display of skill, teamwork, and sheer determination.
In the Premier League, AFC Vexham emerged as victors with a commendable 15 points and six wins to their credit. They drew 2-2 with Big Boys to complete the season. A big win for Celta Allstars over Big Stiff Chip Butty allowed them to finish the season on a high.
Division 1 saw Mirage United reign supreme with an impressive 19 points and nine wins. They finished strong as they beat Twinkle Toes on the night. Second place were Baz Ball FC as they ran out 4-2 winners over Stourbridge Olympic. In the final game Inches VI Combined ran out 3-1 winners over De Jong Boys.
In Division 2, Genoa Side took the top spot with 16 points and seven wins. There 6-0 win on the night allowed them to finish top of the pile and defeated Reserve Squad V2. AC MiBathams finished in second place but suffered a 6-3 loss on the night to BBF United. In the battle of the two relegated teams Bayern Neverlosen beat Pique Blinders 3-1.
Notting Yourmumsforest were the standout team in Division 3, tallying 13 points and six wins. They did this even though they were defeated on the night 3-1 by Athletic Dildao. Going up with them is Borussia Munchenshadrack as they ran out 1-0 winners over Scran City. Waggon Wanderers were 2-1 winners over Paralympique Marseille in the other game in this division.
Spignif Allstars claimed the championship in Division 4, earning 12 points and five wins. They took the title despite a 1-1 draw with Gylfi as Charged. There was also a 1-1 draw between This is Plough We Do It and Expected Toulouse FC to finish the season.
In Division 5, Cott Lane Colts secured the championship with 19 points and nine wins. They finished the season in style as they ran out 5-1 winners over Danny Gs Henchmen. Second placed Peter Larsen Kaffe lost on the night as they were between 2-1 by Still Trying FC. In the final game in this league Unathletic Madrid ran out 4-1 winners over The Unbelievable Lads FC.
