Play in the Stourbridge Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
In the Stourbridge Monday 6 a side Football league, last night marked the exciting conclusion of Week 11. The divisions, namely, Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Division 4, all witnessed some stunning games and exceptional performances.
Unfortunately we did have one non-attendance as This is Plough we Do It were not present for there fixture. The team have already confirmed there return for the next game. It is paramount all teams are present for there fixtures each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as it can, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your Area Manager in plenty of time.
In more positive news, in the Premier League, HAS Bin Lions and The Galacticos locked horns in a high-scoring bout with The Galacticos bagging a narrow 7-6 victory. AFC Vexham and Baz Ball FC couldn't break the deadlock with a 1-1 draw while VI Inches Combined fell short to Mirage United, 1-3. Big Boys also dominated Wheres Your Man FC with a 7-2 triumph.
The Division 1 saw a goalless draw between Lads On Toure and Fenny Football Club while AC MiBathams edged past Yatesys VI, 4-3. Genoa Side outscored Borussia Munchenshadrack 5-3, and Stourbridge Olympic had a 4-2 victory over Big Stiff Chip Butty.
In Division 2, Athletic Dildao were beaten by Talbot 6, 5-1, and BBF United triumphed over Piqué Blinders with the same score line. Spignif Allstars were 4-1 winners over Hwang Bang which was a very good game on the night. Waggon Wanderers were also 4-1 winners over Bayern Neverlosen in the final game of Division Two on the night.
Division 3 matches were closely contested with Bakers Barmy Army beating Twinkle Toes 3-1, and Cott Lane Colts securing a 3-2 win over Expected Toulouse FC. Past Our Prime ran out 1-0 winners in there game against Peter Larsen Kaffe.
Division 4 witnessed high-scoring games, particularly the big win for Unathletic Madrid over Team Pending. There was also an 8-2 win for Euro Anchor FC over Rio Fridays FC, a 6-1 win for league leaders Six Offenders over SPAFF It FC and Danny Gs Henchman came away with a 4-2 win on the night when they played Still Trying FC.
In all, Week 11 of the Stourbridge Monday 6 a side Football league was filled with high-energy performances, much to the delight of the football enthusiasts. All eyes are now on Week 12 as the excitement continues.
The league is now OFF for bank holiday Monday this week and will return Monday 2nd September 2024. We wish all players, officials and there families a wonderful Bank holiday weekend and see you all when we return.
