Play in the Stourbridge Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Another brilliant night in the Stourbridge Monday League as we near the end of the season.

Unfortunately we did have an incident on the night in the game between Big Stiff Chip Butty and Yatesy VI where a player from each team were sent from the field of play. It was all started unnecessarily by the Big Stiff Chip Butty player and was sent off for raising his hands to an opponent and therefore has been fined £20 and banned for two weeks for his actions on the night. The Yatesys VI player retaliated by kicking the opposing player in the head and therefore was sent from the field of play for violent conduct, this player has been fined and permanently banned from the league moving forward. It is captains responsibility to ensure there team follows all rules on the league night and breaches of this will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each and every time. 

In more positive news and in a thrilling week 13 of the Stourbridge Monday Football League, the Premier League saw teams go head-to-head in a series of electrifying matches. The Galacticos dominated VI Inches Combined, securing an 8-2 victory. However, the spotlight was undoubtedly on Jamie of Mirage United, who topped the goal charts with a remarkable 4 goals in their 11-4 win over Baz Ball FC. There was also a win for Where's Your Man FC against HAS Bin Lions 6-2 and in the top of the table clash between Big Boys and AFC Vexham nothing could separate them in a 2-2 draw.

In Division 1, Big Stiff Chip Butty were in clinical form as they ran out comfortable winners over Yatesys VI. Meanwhile, Borussia Munchenshadrack saw off Fenny Football Club with a 4-0 victory in an engaging encounter. AC MiBathams continue to sit top of this division after a 3-1 win over Genoa Side and Stourbridge Olympic and Lads on Toure finished all square as they finished 2-2.

Division 2 witnessed a hard-fought draw between Talbot 6 and Piqué Blinders, ending 1-1. However, Waggon Wonderers made sure they were on top form as they secured a 3-1 victory over Spignif Allstars. In the shock of the night top of the league BBF United lost 3-2 to bottom of the league Hwang Bang and Athletic Dildao and Bayern Neverlosen played out a very entertaining 2-2 draw to finish the night.

On to Division 3, where Scran City edged out Past Our Prime 3-2 in an intense battle. Peter Larsen Kaffe shone bright as they come away with a 4-1 victory over Twinkle Toes. Cott Lane Colts remained top after a 2-0 win over Bakers Barmy Army and in a brilliant battle to start the night This is Plough We Do It ran out 3-2 winners in there game against Expected Toulouse FC.

Finally, in Division 4, Euro Anchor FC's Mathew Taylor made his mark scoring 5 goals in their dominance over Team Pending. Danny G's Henchmen also managed a tight 2-1 win over Rios Friday FC. SPAFF It FC were very convincing in there 8-3 win over Unathletic Madrid and Six Offenders continue to make hard work of closing out the title in this league as they faltered when they drew 3-3 with Still Trying FC.

This week's games have set a high standard for the weeks to come, and we can't wait to see what's in store in the Stourbridge Monday Football League.
