The Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side football league has officially kicked off its new season. The first round of matches have already seen an abundance of goals and some standout individual performances.

Division 2 saw a tight competition between teams. Piqué Blinders secured a 4-1 win against Spignif Allstars. Cott Lane Colts beat Athletic Dildao 6-5 in a crazy game where 11 goals were produced. Euro Anchor FC comfortably beat Dy5 Bullets 5-1 and Bayern Neverlosen edged past Peter Larsen Kaffe with a 2-1 win.

Over in Division 3, HAS Bin Lions set the bar high, with their impressive victory over Twinkle Toes. Past Our Prime won a tight battle with Bakers Barmy Army coming out on top with a 4-2 win. Lads On Toure played out a 2-2 draw with Railway 6's in an end to end game. While, Scran City beat Hwang Bang comfortably with a 4-1 score line.

Finally, in Division 4, Danny Gs Henchmen secured a 5-2 win over SPAFF IT FC. It was all honors even as Unathletic Madrid and This IS Plough We Do It played out a 1-1 draw. While both Still Trying FC and Expected Toulouse FC both came out victorious beating Rios Friday FC and Team Pending respectively.
