Play in the Stourbridge Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
As week 10 of the Stourbridge Monday Football League concluded last night, fans and players were left elated at the skill and prowess displayed on the pitch across all divisions.
Unfortunately, we did have two non-attendances on the night, These two teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with both of them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
In the Premier League division, we saw some spectacular football with AFC Vexham defeating Genoa Side 6-2, and Celta Allstars triumphing over Fill Her Wycombe with the same scoreline. Mirage United also had a strong performance, defeating Ur Gonna Get Some comfortably. The match between The Galacticos and Wheres Your Man FC was a close competition, ending in a 6-4 victory for The Galacticos.
In Division 1, Borussia Munchenshadrack defeated Big Stiff Chip Butty 5-3, and Mals Tav Athletic emerged victorious against Stourbridge Olympic with the same scoreline. The largest victory margin was seen in the match between Talbot 6 and BBF United, where Talbot 6 cruised past their competitors.
Division 2 saw Athletic Dildao beating Spignif Allstars 3-1, while DY5 Bullets triumphed over Choir Boys FC 5-2. Piqué Blinders also managed a 2-1 victory over Peter Larsen Kaffe.
In Division 3, Lads On Toure narrowly defeated Hwang Bang 2-1, Scran City beat HAS Bin Lions comfortably, and Past Our Prime outscored Twinkle Toes convincingly. Bakers Barmy Army also claimed a big win over Railway 6's. Past Our Prime's Josh was the division's top scorer with three goals.
Finally, in Division 4, Unathletic Madrid and SPAFF IT FC both secured narrow 1-0 victories over Still Trying FC and This is Plough We Do It, respectively. Expected Toulouse FC managed to edge past Danny Gs Henchmen 2-1, while Team Pending unleashed a goal-scoring frenzy to crush Rios Friday FC.
As the league progresses, anticipation builds for what the next week of matches will bring. With such high intensity and unyielding spirit, the Stourbridge Monday Football League continues to captivate fans and players alike.
