Play in the Stourbridge Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
In a thrilling conclusion to the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side Football League, five teams emerged victorious after the final matches of the season. The league, now in its 14th week, saw teams across Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Division 4 divisions display magnificent performances to clinch their respective titles.
Unfortunately we did have an injury on the night as Todd Wood of Lads on Toure dislocated his knee and had to leave the venue in an ambulance. Although he is facing a bit of time out we do wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him down at the league again in the near future.
We did also have a few non-attendances on the night, all teams that weren't there will be contacted in order to confirm there return. It is paramount all teams are present each week in order for the league to run smoothly on a weekly basis, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your Area Manager in plenty of time.
In the Premier League Division, AFC Vexham secured the top spot with a total of 25 points. Their remarkable tally included 12 wins. In the results on the night Celta Allstars finished strong to give themselves a 2-0 win over Wheres Your Man FC and a thrilling encounter was on show as Fill Her Wycombe and Genoa Side drew 1-1.
Division 1 was dominated by Mals Tav Athletic, who also racked up 25 points, including 12 wins. It was Talbot 6 who ran out runners up and both will be looking forward to the Premier Division next season.
Meanwhile, in Division 2, Euro Anchor FC notably clinched the division's title with a total of 21 points. DY5 Bullets were runners up up after to finishing the season with a win over relegated Spignif Allstars. In a 12 goal thriller Bayern Neverlosen beat long time rivals Pique Blinders and Peter Larsen Kaffe finished strong with a 3-1 win over Athletic Dildao.
Scran City triumphed in Division 3, accumulating 22 points. They finished with a 3-0 win over Lads On Toure in order to finish the season off in style. Going up with them is Hwang Bang after they finished with a 3-2 win over Bakers Barmy Army. In the other game on the night Railway 6's ran out comfortable winners over Twinkle Toes.
Finally, in Division 4, Unathletic Madrid outperformed their competitors to win the division with 21 points. Although they did finish with a 1-1 draw as Rio Fridays FC finished the season strong. This Is Plough We Do It are promoted with them after a 3-2 win over Expected Toulouse FC and in the other games Danny Gs Henchmen beat Team Pending and Still Trying FC were 2-0 winners over SPAFF It FC.
Congratulations to all the winners and top scorers for their unmatched performances in the Stourbridge Monday Football League. The undertaking, determination, and sportsmanship displayed throughout the season were truly remarkable. We look forward to the next season of this dynamic league.

The league will be in contact with all teams over the NEW SEASON starting Monday 6th January 2025 on either Friday 27tth December 2024 or Monday 30th December 2024 so team captains must have there phones next to them on these days.
