THREE WEEKS GONE AND THE LEAGUES ARE STARTING TO TAKE SHAPE!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Brierley Hill 6-a-side Monday League this week. We did have one team not at the league as 'Puyol Pants Down' handed in there 7 days notice because of a lot of holidays in the team. We look forward to seeing them back at the league for the next set of fixtures.

Game of the night in the Premier Division saw 'Inter Mi'Bathams' take on 'Exeter Gently'. The early league leaders took on the runners up of the Premier Division last season. It was a fantastic game that could have seen the result going either way. 'Exeter Gently' stay the early league leaders as they came out on top 3-2 and it will be interesting to see if they can keep this form going as the season progresses.

In a very tight Division 1 the game of the night goes to the game between 'Crumptons Firm' and 'Crep City FC', two teams that are very evenly matched as the 1-1 result suggests. 'Crumptons Firm' left it late to get the point but it ill be interesting where each team will be the next time these two teams meet again.

The unbeaten 'AC McCann' are our team of the week as they kept there 100% record going and now sit top of the Division One table. This shows there early intent to bounce straight back up to the Premier Division and keep this form up they will get there in no time. There next opponents after the bank holiday break are 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC', can they keep the winning streak going?

The league is now off for the bank holiday Monday 26th August 2019 and will resume again on Monday 2nd September 2019 as the centre is closed.
