TWO TO GO IN THE STOURBRIDGE MONDAY LEAGUE!!!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Stourbridge Monday League this week with all teams in attendance as expected. 

It was great to welcome new team 'Trysull Old Boys' who came out 6-2 winners on the night and looked very impressive as they head into the new season. Good luck as the league moves forward.

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the game between 'Borussia Teeth' and 'Paris Ganja Man', two teams sitting either end of the table but were involved in a very close and high quality game which was decided in the last kick of the game to win 2-1 and to help 'Borussia Teeth' stay in touch with 'That Peter Crouch Team' after their win earlier in the night. Next up for them is 'Neville', can they keep the pressure on the league leaders with two weeks to go in the season?

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' and 'Delph and Safety'. A seven goal thriller that could have gone either way ended with 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' coming away with a 4-3 win and therefore keeping things very interesting with two weeks to go in the season. With this result 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' are now only two points off second with two games to go, next up they hope to continue there push against '6 Berks And A Turk'.

New team 'Trysull Old Boys' are our team of the week following their brilliant performance to take the points against 'Baloteletubbies'. In the next two games they will be looking to build on this result and then maybe mount a title push for the new season.
