BRILLIANT START TO THE NEW DIVISION IN STOURBRIDGE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Sunday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Unfortunately we did have one disciplinary issue on the night as Taylor Booth of 'Stourbridge Olympic' was sent after their second game of the night for being abusive towards the referee, due to the severity of the abuse he has been fined £20 for his action on the night and banned from the league for four weeks.  It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly. 

On more positive news, it was great to see a very successful start to the brand new division in the league as 'Pring Ding FC', 'FCustom' and 'Stourbridge Olympic' to their places. Delighted to announce that 'Magni Facio' have also brought there start at the league forward and will start this week so the league look forward to welcoming them and seeing how thye do in there first fixture against 'FCustom' at 8pm. We wish all teams the best of luck moving forward in the new division.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'This Is Plough We Do It' and 'Sexy Football'. Two very good sides that run each other very close. It was 'This Is Plough We Do It' that came out on top 4-2 winners and help their cause to try and climb the table before the season is finished. Due to the pushing back of fixtures because of the pandemic the fixtures are the same for next so can 'Sexy Football' get there revenge? Or will 'This Is Plough We Do It' do the double over there opponents?

The game of the night in the brand new Division One was between 'Pring Ding FC' and 'FCustom'. A six goal thriller to start there league campaigns and it was 'Pring Ding FC' that came out on top 4-2 winners. Will they be one of the teams to watch as the season develops and the new season comes up fast?

Team of the week has to be 'Pring Ding FC' with their brilliant victory above to start there charge in Division One. Next up 'Stourbridge Olympic' in an early top of the table clash.
