OFF WITH A BANG IN THE STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY LEAGUE!

A fantastic first first game of the season in the Stourbridge Sunday League at Stourbridge Rugby Club with all teams in attendance as expected.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Sexy Football' and last seasons Division One champions 'Pring Ding FC'. A very tight affair that saw two evenly matched teams playing out a very close game and saw some brilliant play throughout, it was 'Pring Ding FC' who came out 2-1 winners in the end. 'Sexy Football' will be looking for revenge when the teams meet again later in the season so we will see how this pans out.

The rivalry between 'Big Butie Beaches' and 'The Beasts Barmy Army' played out the game of the night in Division One. Two new teams that know each other well and really wanted to get one over there rivals but it was 'Big Butie Beaches' who came out with the 2-0 win in the end. With the quality on show throughout this division it will be interesting to see who will be coming out on top and being promoted come the end of the season.

Team of the week for this week are 'Hooiser Daddys'. An impressive start to the season saw them run out 8-0 winners and means they sit top of Division One after week one. Are they the ones to watch in Division One this season? Next up 'Moves Like Agger', an early top of the table clash.
