STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 12TH DECEMBER 2021

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Sunday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Unfortunately we did have a disciplinary issue on the night. In the game between 'Sexy Football' and 'Hoosier Daddy's', Bevan from 'Hoosier Daddy's' was sent off for foul and abusive language to the referee. Because of the incident the player in question has been fined £20 and banned from due to the severity of the abuse. It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly.

On more positive news, the game of the night this week goes to the game between 'AFC Audnam' and 'I Like That'. Two sides that know each other well and always play in a good spirit but it was 'I Like That' who continued there fine form and ran out 5-1 winners. Two games to go and three teams are in the race for the title with 1 point splitting all the teams, who will come out on top?

With the performance above 'I Like That' are also our team of the week. Can they finish strong as they set themselves up for the season ahead.
