STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 24TH JULY 2022

A brilliant night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Sunday League.

Unfortunately we did have one non attendance as 'Hoosier Daddy's' were not present for there fixture. As the team have now missed two weeks in a row they will now be removed from the league as per the terms and conditions. Although this does open up a space in the league its important teams are there each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible. Any problems should always be discussed with your area manager in plenty of time.

In better news, the game of the evening was played between 'Stourbridge Zebra' and 'I Like That' in a game that slipped away from 'Stourbridge Zebra' despite their best efforts as they succumbed to the pressure of the top of the league 'I Like That'. This victory included 4 excellent goals from Kian Lord and means 'I Like That' are now close to winning there first league title and with four weeks to go will be looking to do this as soon as possible.

The team of the week from this evening's action was 'Sexy Football' as they provided a ruthless performance against their opposition 'AFC Audnam' which resulted in a high scoring victory including a sublime hat-trick from Sam Finney to top the night off. They will be looking to finish the season off as strong as possible in the final weeks.
