STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 24TH SEP 2023

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

Fantastic games throughout in the Stourbridge Sunday League with all teams in attendance on the night as expected. 

Unfortunately we did have one team turn up late for there fixture meaning a 5-0 loss and disappointment for the team they were due to play on the night. Please ensure you are all looking at your fixtures correctly in the next two weeks to avoid this happening again.

In more positive news, game of this week goes to the game between 'William Flakespeare’ and ‘Biffs Army’. Both teams were end to end however 'Biffs Army’ came out the eventual winners with 4 goals from Joe Fellows with the final goal being the one to separate the teams. ‘William Flakespeare’ could not do anymore to become victors over their opposition. However, it does show that the two teams will keep each other on their toes for the rest of the cup especially with just the one goal to separate the two 

Due to their performance 'I Like That' are our team of the week with their battling display which saw them let loose on ‘Pique Blinders’ scoring lots of goals throughout the team. ‘I Like That’s’ dominating performance shows how they could be great contenders for the cup title with talent throughout their team and a crunch game coming up next week against the current leaders.
