The Stourbridge Sunday League Returns!

A great evening of action as teams returned for the new season of the Stourbridge Sunday Leisure Leagues at Stourbridge Rugby Club. All teams were in attendance and some great games played throughout.

The game of the evening was played between 'Sexy Football' and 'I Like That' where both teams were returning to show the quality they have. The thrilling game finished in a 4-2 victory for 'Sexy Football' with both teams pushing each other right to the end of the match to try and gain the points to begin the season.  It was Sam Finney who was the MVP for 'Sexy Football' as he scored a wonderful hat trick, hitting the ground running in the new season. We look forward to seeing how both teams can carry on as the season continues.

Team of the evening for the beginning of the new season was an excellent team performance from all players of reigning champions 'Hoosier Daddy's' as they opened their campaign with a 5-2 victory over 'AFC Audnam'. Goals came from all over the team but it was a standout performance from Dan Smith to orchestrate the win, we look forward to see if they can continue this as the league continues.
