STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 3RD APRIL 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A great evening of football with all teams in attendance as expected.

The games were a joy to behold as all players took part in an enjoyable Sunday full of football. The game of the week took place between  2nd place 'Sexy Football' and 3rd placed 'I Like That' in a game which could decide where they finish come the end of the season. The game resulted in a 6-1 victory for 'Sexy Football' as both teams pushed themselves to the very limit to try and get the result. Despite the score line being indifferent both teams played very well in great team spirit with plenty of end to end football on show. Next up for 'Sexy Football' is a game against 'Dads United' as they look to chase down the league leaders.

The team of the week put on an excellent show which were 'Dads United' as they kicked back from a close loss last week which was our game of the week. This week they turned up looking to show they are a winning side as they put on a great spectacle of a team performance overpowering their opponents with an impressive hattrick from Dean Powers. We look forward to see if they can push up the league for the remainder of the season.
