STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 6th FEBRUARY 2022

Fantastic games throughout in the finals week of the Stourbridge Sunday league cup as the teams battled it out to win their final games of the competition before the new league begins. 

The Sunday League Cup was a great competition and well done to all teams that took part in the competition which was played in great spirits however there could only be one winner. The final came down to two teams in excellent form ‘Gangsters Allardyce and ‘Sexy Football’ which went right down to the wire in a classic cup final. The game eventually ended in a 2-1 victory for ‘Gangsters Allardyce’ with goals from MVP James Watts and Dan Hounsell to decide the competition, therefore, congratulations to ‘Gangsters Allardyce’ in their deserved victory. We would also like to congratulate ‘Sexy Football on their second-place finish and being extremely unfortunate not to get their overall victory as they entered the final being unbeaten in the cup and with a breath-taking record of a goal difference of 25 in only 4 games however, they unfortunately could not go all the way this time around. 

All team captains please note the new season commences after a two week break on Sunday  27th February 2022. We look forward to welcoming all teams back for the new season to see if they can improve on their  previous campaign.
