A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Sunday League with all teams in attendance as expected.

The league returned with excellent action after the bank holiday weekend which we hope you all enjoyed. Their were plenty of thrilling games played as the teams battled it out for important points. The best game played was a victory for 'Dads United' as they beat league leaders at the start of the night 'Hooiser Daddy's' 5-3 in an end to end game of football. It was Dean Powers who stood out with his MVP performance and a hattrick to secure the game for 'Dads United' in an important victory for the team and their points tally. We look forward to seeing if they can continue this form in future games. It does also mean that the title race is now in 'Sexy Football's hands going into the final game of the season.

The team of the evening is given to 'AFC Audnam', although not getting the result they would have liked against there rivals they continue to be great embassadors for the league with great enthusiasm towards the league each and every week. They will be looking to make there mark on the title race for the final game of the season as they take on 'Sexy Football'.
